Sugarlands Visitor Center Garden Project

  • 25 Aug 2016
  • 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Sugarlands Visitor Center, Great Smoky Mountains National Park

This is a monthly event to plant, weed and maintain the garden beds at the entrance to the Sugarlands Visitor Center in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The Park received a grant for 2016 and is planting primarily pollinator plants. Park Staff and Interns are involved but Master Gardeners will be needed to continue to maintain these beds once completed. This had been an ongoing project for many years. Bring gloves, favorite tools for weeding and planting and lunch with plenty of drink. We meet the fourth Thursday of each month from 9 AM and finish by 1 PM. Once planned, these times and dates could change so feel free to contact the project leader for details and information.
