Remember going to the fair as a child and walking through the exhibit tents to see everything from pies and cakes to floral arrangements to jars of pickles and relish to the largest pumpkin or the prettiest tomatoes?
This September 29th we can do it again with our own children and grandchildren at the Blue Ribbon County Fair held at the Heritage Center.
I know we have some exceptionally talented folks among our members and would like to encourage youall to make an entry of your own. What better way to show our support of the Fair and as well as to show off our own expertise than entering something of our own whether it might be prized dahlias, jars of pickles, your grandmother's stack cake, a special photograph or a wood carving? Don't forget our bee keepers - they can enter their honey.
Entry forms are being accepted now through September 24.
