A Message from Sue Rushing to everyone interested in helping with the Festival of Trees Project project:
Those interested in helping with the Festival of Trees Project are invited to help create ornaments and to help decorate the tree. I have reserved a room at the Extension office for Monday, November 19 and Monday, November 26 from 10 a.m. to noon on each day to work on the decorations. Please reply to me at shrushing@aol.com or text me at 865 712-6461 to let me know if you can attend.
If you need supplies, please let me know as soon as possible so I can get them. We cannot use glitter or live greenery at the office so if you want these in your decorations, we can figure out how to work on them elsewhere. I still need some old seed packs to use for decorating.
I have ordered a tree from William Blount. We can decorate the tree on Tuesday, November 27. I am very flexible on times for that. The Festival of Trees is at the Courthouse on Thursday, November 29 at 6:30 p.m.
