March meeting of the TN Rose Society. Visitors welcome. Pruning program is geared to novice and garden rosarians -- not exhibitors. Lots of pictures and practical examples of what to look for and do when pruning. Handouts provided. Objective is to learn to prune correctly to grow healthy garden roses with lots of beautiful blooms. The basic guidelines of pruning apply to all varieties of roses -- hybrid teas, David Austin, shrubs, and knockouts.
